European Doorsets are delighted to have recently secured the complete bespoke timber doorset package to a state-of-the-art 11-storey extension at the existing Tate Modern art gallery in Southwark.

Doorsets are due on site from August 2014 in which we will be supplying quarter-cut stained European Oak veneer doors with stained Oak frames. A number of the doors are acoustic rated to 42dB for sound reduction including the sliding timber doors. In order to increase the sound barrier to these sliding doors, acoustic insulation will be added to the core of the doors for added performance. All doorsets are to be manufactured to bespoke sized openings.

The iconic building when completed will house increased exhibition and display space as well as provide learning and educational facilities for school visits.

The project is due for overall completion mid 2015.
