This project involved the construction of three new blocks (Sports, Civil Engineering and Nursery) to Wolverhampton College. Doors were a mixture of laminate and ash veneer faced with paint grade frames.
A large proportion of the doors were required to a high acoustic rating, (also many with combined fire rating), requiring the use of specialist door cores, seals and glazing systems.

Certain doors were 64mm thick to achieve the required performance, making the accuracy of door and frame construction critical to make sure the doors worked perfectly when installed.
