Occupied by an agency of the Scottish Government, the 11,000sqm building houses a community of 100 scientists and their supporters. Based in Edinburgh their work helps to ensure the quality, safety and security of food supply in Scotland.
This particular contract we were specified to supply both the doorsets and associated ironmongery. After close contact with the site team we were able to deliver the doorsets and ironmongery to a combined program. Whilst we serviced the doorsets for any relevant ironmongery, the actual ironmongery was supplied individually bagged to coincide with the doors delivered at any one time, so as 50 doorsets were delivered 50 specific sets of ironmongery arrived simultaneously.

An unusual finish was specified for the doors with Vertical Grain European Oak, Rift cut veneer being the preferred choice.
