The Wandsworth Acute Unit (WAU) is a new mixed gender inpatient facility for adults with acute mental illness at Springfield University Hospital. This order was for the supply of internal doors, frames, screen and glass.
The majority of the doors were laminated faced for durability and ease of cleaning; all doors were made using Severe Duty cores. All frames were in Sapele hardwood timber to ensure the maximum strength of the doorsets. All ironmongery servicing was carried out in the factory to ensure accurate and consistent fitting.

Glass to vision panels and timber screens was of increased thickness for security and was installed using security screws to ensure secure fixings with the ability to replace any glass should any damage occur.
