96-98 Bishops Bridge Road, Paddington W2

European Doorsets are pleased to have recently secured the bespoke timber doorset package to the former Queens Cinema on Bishops Bridge Road, which is to be redeveloped to provide 16 high-spec residential apartments and ground floor retail space.
Over 150nr doorsets will be supplied in total comprising of factory spray-painted doors with primed frames, all manufactured to bespoke sized openings. Inside the apartments, doors will feature a bespoke timber panelled design, whilst the sliding bathroom doors will feature a reeded glass panel with a decorative bead detail.
Included in the supply are a number of PAS24 doorsets which are required to the entrance lobby areas. The redevelopment will provide one, two and three bedroomed high quality apartments, including a set-back penthouse.
Externally, the existing Art Deco front façade to the former Queens Cinema will also be retained to add character to the redevelopment within the affluent area of Paddington.
The project is due for completion early 2015.
Westbourne House, Westbourne Grove, Westminster

European Doorsets were delighted to secure the internal doorset package to an exclusive development in Westbourne Grove, Westminster.
The development sees an existing 1980’s office building being converted into 20 luxury high-end residential apartments.
Inside, the apartments are to be exquisitely finished with contemporary detailing and designed with a touch of Art Deco elegance. Externally, the existing façade is to be removed and replaced with a new contemporary facade to suit the affluent area of Westminster.
The development will feature a mixture of one, two & three bedroomed apartments and a duplex penthouse on the 7th floor which will have 360 degree panoramic views of the City of London. Meanwhile, on the Ground Floor, there will be a number of high-end commercial units.
Over 250nr doorsets will be supplied in total which will mainly consist of paint-grade doorsets ready for painting on site in which the face of the door will feature a timber panelled design. Meanwhile, the Reception Area doors will be veneer faced American Black Walnut and will feature concealed vision panel beads.
Once completed, the apartments are expected to be sold anywhere from £1.3million.
The project is due for completion Quarter 1 2015.
14 Lovat Lane, Central London

The project at 14 Lovat Lane saw the refurbishment and reconfiguration of the existing building from office use to provide 41 short-term let serviced apartments and residential accommodation.
European Doorsets supplied a mix of paint-grade and american black walnut veneer faced doors with paint-grade split frames and integral architraves. Over 200 doorsets were supplied in total.
Green Quarter, Manchester

European Doorsets were delighted to secure the doorset package required at Green Quarter, a flagship residential development in the heart of Manchester.
Over 1,300 apartments were constructed across seven apartment blocks in total and over half the site was dedicated to provide landscaped gardens creating an open and welcoming space. The apartments themselves were constructed to create a contemporary and modern feel.
European Doorsets supplied nearly 1,200nr doorsets to the project in total which comprised of american white oak veneer doors with primed frames, supplied with hinges and locks.
Macauley Road, Clapham

The scheme at Macaulay Road is a mixed use development comprising of 98 residential apartments and commercial office space. The development saw the reconfiguration and refurbishment to six existing 19th Century industrial warehouses which have been remodeled to give a contemporary feel throughout the buildings.
European Doorsets supplied almost 650nr doorsets in total comprising of paint-grade doors with primed frames and stile & rail effect fumed oak veneer doors with recessed panels. The fumed oak veneer doors were supplied complete with oak frames and architraves in which the lippings and frames were oil finished in fumed oak to match the door facing.
